Our story
Why custom, and why this price.
CommunityLauncher started out helping founders launch paid communities. We built their apps, set up payments and onboarding, and worked alongside them through launch.
Along the way we noticed something. The communities that thrived weren't the ones on the flashiest platform. They were the ones whose tools fit how they actually ran: how members joined, met, paid, and showed up.
Every community is different. A run club needs pace groups and a 6 a.m. check-in. A coworking space needs room bookings and guest passes. A professional network needs vetting and mentor matching. Off-the-shelf platforms try to be all of those things at once, so they end up fitting none of them particularly well.
So we changed what we offer. We now design, build, and look after custom software for communities, for $999 a year, because the communities that need it most can't spend five figures on an agency.
